Are you aware that this list is taken from another post by Charles J. Sykes, Printed in San Diego Union Tribune, September 19, 1996 as: "Some rules kids won't learn in school"? Did you see Bill Gates give credit for it? I think not.
There seems to be more concern over who said this than acknowledging that it is true. Whoever said it first was absolutely correct and didn't have the power to get the message out. This should be posted in every school and everyone one of us should ask how we can 'encourage' teachers to learn from it.
